Havila Shipping ASA has been working with us through a pilot project where the purpose has been to test the RLX floodlights in a production environment.
The shipping company has a worldwide reputation for being a pioneer in the offshore industry, and during the OSJ Conference in London they received the prestigious award "Support Vessel of 2011" for the vessel Seven Havila.
The pilot project consists of 5 RLX Spot beams that are mounted on the top bridge of the vessel Havila Mercury. The purpose of the project is to verify how the lights are operating during various circumstances and to get the important feedback from the crew. The feedback has been very positive so far.

Bourbon Offshore Norway AS is a well known shipping company worldwide, and open for new ideas and technology. The company has the first ship made with the X-bow technology, and they are branding themselves as an organization with the ability and the will to adopt new technology.
Bourbon was among the first shipping companies to invest in RLX wide beams for use on the back part of a PSV vessel. This is a challenging part of the ship where the light fixtures will face a lot of quakes, shakings and hard weather. Fixtures that have been used here earlier were damaged during operations and demanded frequently service to work properly.
We are proud to be able to supply Bourbon with products that can handle the tough environment they are operating in.
